H1N1 and Asthma

A recent study of children who developed a severe case of H1N1 , found that most of the children had underlying conditions, with asthma being the most common.

Parents with children suffering from asthma need to be diligent in regards to recommended methods of avoiding the H1N1 flu. If your asthmatic child develops flu-like symptoms, notify your doctor; particularly if they also develop gastrointestinal symptoms.
